The Lord of the Seas

The crowd wanted to make Jesus king, but He knew His kingdom wasn’t of this world. He sent the disciples ahead in a boat while He dismissed the people. A storm arose, and the disciples saw someone walking on the water—they were terrified. Jesus assured them it was Him. Peter stepped out to meet Him but began to sink when distracted by the waves. Jesus caught him, and they returned to the boat, which immediately reached shore.

This reminds us that when we ask Jesus for help—whether to overcome sin or show kindness—He reaches out and strengthens us.
