The Lord of Promises

God promised to lead the Israelites into a land flowing with milk and honey, yet at the border they complained. When the people needed water, God told Moses to speak to the rock, but instead he struck it, and so he was only allowed to see the promised land from afar. After his death, God raised Moses and took him to heaven. In the same way, if we remain faithful, Jesus will one day take us to heaven when He returns. Though we sometimes fail like Moses, God still loves us and never gives up on us.
