Waiting on the Lord

Noah and his family stayed in the ark until the floodwaters receded. He first sent a raven, then a dove, which later returned with an olive branch—a sign of new life. At last, they stepped onto dry ground. Because people had not repented, God judged the earth with a flood, but He set the rainbow as His promise never to do so again. In time, He would send Jesus to bring salvation.
